Y , Quick release for convenient changing/cleaning of brushes. Very strong and hard wearing. This wont break if you drop your brush.
  Aluminium collar to improve the life of the pole when being knocked against window ledges. External thread for standard angle adaptor. Strong and versatile
 
  Adjustable angle adaptor to allow you to position the brush at the optimum angle
  Clamps.  Atlas clamps are bonded to the pole. Replacements available

 Extend2wash  Atlas fibreglass poles
 The Atlas poles are only supplied with 5ft sections for a more compact pole. All the Atlas poles are in a hi-viz yellow. The end cone is aluminium for extra life when banging against window sills.

One of the advantages of the Atlas is in the clamp. Many poles with a single cam action are not suitable once a pole starts to wear. The top and bottom of a section wear more than the middle so sometimes it is impossible to adjust a clamp to suit the variation in size. The Atlas has a double cam action so as the pole wears the clamp can still be adjusted to suit the variation in sizes due to the wide range between "clamp open" and "clamp closed"

Price is for "bare pole"  Fibreglass sections with clamps, aluminium end and plastic butt cap.

Atlas Pro
The Atlas Pro doesn't use section 1 and has aluminium ends machined to suit section 2 thus making a heavier duty pole. because it doesn't use the thinner section 1 the Atlas Pro comes with 6ft sections and also has an aluminium base cap as standard. Only available in a 4 section pole so uses Atlas sections 2,3,4 and 5.  A heavier pole but same reach and same price as the standard 5 section pole. Only available in black.

 Extend2wash  Atlas carbon fibre poles
The Atlas carbon fibre pole is only available as a 6 section pole. The longer of the 2 takes advantage of the fact that a clamp adds a few inches to each section therefore the subsequent section can be longer. As this extra is multiplied for each subsequent section it can add another 3 feet to the same length pole.
