| The
first batch of Extend2wash poles has arrived and is being tested.
Everyone who has tried them is impressed so far.
I have been using water fed poles for a few years
now and wanted something that didn't have what I saw as shortcomings
of other poles. I think on the whole I have succeeded.
The prices below are expected prices for the
fibreglass poles including reinforced tubing, angle adaptor, brush,
alloy end cone, nylon end cap and end fitting.
These have been manufactured in a different way
from other similar priced poles on the market to get away from the problem of splitting.
The constant weaving way of manufacture is more labour intensive so
costs more to make but produces a stiffer stronger pole due to
having no seams.
Another feature is that each pole is a snug fit
inside its mating section making for a less flexible joint and
taking some of the stress away from the point where the clamp
fixes to the pole. This means there is no room for a stop on each
section so there is a contrasting colour band near the bottom to warn the user that
the section is fully extended.
Hybrid and carbon fibre coming later. The Hybrid
are fibre glass interior and the carbon fibre is spiral wound onto
the outside making an extremely strong pole. |
