All the RO systems sold by me are manufactured by Hidrotek, a respected member of The Water Quality Association.

Standard fitting 10" filters.

Manual and all pipes and fittings required for installation are included though the fittings do not cover every eventually and you may need to buy longer pipes depending how far away your water supply is to your system.

The stages of filtration are:-

1^st pre filter - 5 micron sediment filter made of 100% polypropylene fibre to remove sediments including rust, sand, silt etc.

2^nd pre filter - Granulated activated carbon filter (GAC) Removes Free Chlorine, Fluoride, Odour, Organic Contaminants, Pesticides and Chemicals.

3^rd Membrane/s

A high rejection thin film composite (TFC) reverse osmosis membrane . USA made material. The membranes remove contaminants present in your water including, up to 99% of dissolved salts, barium, lead, copper, bacterial by-products, oestrogen, silica and more.

4th Deionisation filter (DI) with refillable cartridge.

Please note. Most RO systems need 60 to100psi to work and it is doubtful whether many people have that much mains pressure. All the 400 and 600 RO systems I sell come with booster pump included fitted and plumbed in unless otherwise specified. All these systems have double O rings on the membranes and double O rings on the membrane housings

The pictures below are representative of the machine advertised but as the manufacturers alter things from time to time it may not look exactly as shown; though it will have all the features listed.

These systems have a DI filter included, fitted with a refillable resin canister and are all sold with 1 fill of resin.

System comprises

1st stage, 10" housing with 5 micron sediment filter and transparent housing so you can tell at a glance whether the filter needs changing.

2nd stage, 10" housing with carbon filter

3rd stage, 2 membranes.

final stage 10" housing with refillable resin cartridge.

24v booster pump. Fitted with high and low pressure switches.

Available as a 400 or a 600gallon per day system. From testing I find that fitting 300 membranes is a bit more than the system can flow so it is nearer 550 than 600

These systems come with flow restrictor, manual flush membrane and filter housing keys. All fittings are quick fit John Guest type.

Please note the ratings are the manufacturers membrane rating in US gallons and is not guaranteed as it is dependent on optimum conditions, sufficient pressure, filters in good condition etc.. Old filters and low pressure will affect performance. In my experience a system will always work better with a pump regardless of your mains water pressure.
